  Winter Native Tree Planting 5 June- Join Us!
  Murdoch’s annual native tree and shrub planting season kicks off on Friday 5 June, World Environment Day. Volunteers are needed to plant more than 500 native seedlings and enhance our beautiful Chelodina Wetland, just south of Car Park 7.

  Great Cocky Count 2015 at Murdoch University - Register NOW!
  The Great Cocky Count is on Sunday, 12 April 2015 at sunset. Volunteers are still needed for the survey on Murdoch University’s South Street campus. The Murdoch campus is a ‘Super Roost’ for the endangered Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo and the Forest Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo. Data from the survey helps shape conservation actions on campus and in the Perth metro area.

  The Murdoch Guild Volunteer Hub is bringing National Student Volunteer Week to Murdoch. National Student Volunteer Week aims to encourage and recognise student volunteers across Australia.   Tree Planting on World Environment Day
  The rains of autumn and winter herald the start of Murdoch University’s popular native shrub and tree planting programme. Join us on Thursday, 5 June for World Environment Day to plant a new wildlife corridor on campus and do your bit for the environment. Tools and training will be provided. Friends and family are welcome. A BBQ lunch will be provided to all volunteers, so RSVPs are essential!

  AIME Mentor Information Session- Tuesday 12.30pm Bush Court
  Come, enjoy some bake goods and fruit while meeting past and future AIME mentors. AIME is a mentoring program that links University students with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in a mentoring and tutoring relationships. Come to the BUSH COURT from 1230pm till about 2pm on Tuesday the 1st of April to find out how you can get involved in AIME, ask any questions and meet AIME mentors.

  Tree Planting– Volunteers Wanted: Banksia Woodland
  Come help us plant and mulch habitat trees and shrubs in the beautiful Banksia Woodland Reserve. Revegetation of this site began in 2012 to create habitat for endangered black cockatoos, quendas and small birds in this part of campus. Come along and do your bit for the environment whilst soaking up the ambience of the stunning Banksia Woodland Reserve, a part of the Beeliar Regional Park right here on campus.
