Feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed late at night? You're not alone, and we recognise that students’ lives don’t stop when our wellbeing services close.
During consultation with students about wellbeing at Murdoch University, it was highlighted to us that there was a gap in supports for students when our services close. To bridge that gap, we are launching the Murdoch University After Hours Wellbeing Line.
This free and confidential phone service is here to support students facing urgent mental health or wellbeing concerns when the Counselling Service and The Den are closed.
You’ll be connected with trained crisis support specialists who can:
- Listen and help you through difficult moments
- Offer immediate emotional support
- Refer you to Murdoch’s on-campus services for follow-up care
Your privacy is respected — conversations are confidential, and any information shared with Murdoch’s wellbeing team will only be used to help connect you with appropriate support.
