Join this workshop and learn about positive traits of masculinity and how to challenge dominant norms.
In this small workshop, participants discuss: “What does it mean to be a man?” and are given the time and space to hold this conversation with other men, challenge their own thoughts, and support one another to explore this concept.
Gain the confidence and space to explore what masculinity means to you and what or who might be influencing this.
Understand how harmful behaviours and masculine ideals contribute to issues of consent, and learn how to act positively and respectfully and open a conversation with those around you so that we can create a culture filled with positive male role models and a safer community for all.
**please note, to create an open space for conversation, this workshop is for male identifying students only
This workshop will be held at Murdoch University, Building 450, LVL 4, room 001
This workshop is organised by The Den team and is facilitated by the fantastic team from Consent Labs. To learn more about their programs, or to read up about our facilitator (Noah) click here.
