Are you keen to receive formal mentoring to support your professional growth and career journey?
Murdoch University is launching a pilot mentoring program, starting October 2025, and we’re inviting expressions of interest from students who would like to take part as mentees.
This 3-month program will connect 25 students with experienced mentors from:
- The Melville & Cockburn Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) member base
- The Murdoch University Alumni Community
- Other professional and industry sources
Program Highlights:
- Duration: October – December 2025
- Mentoring Stream A: Business Leaders to Students (focus on employability, career, and professional development)
- 6 mentoring sessions over 3 months
- Mentors and mentees matched based on interests, industry, and skill needs
- Onboarding session to align expectations
- Short agreement to ensure commitment
- Mentees are expected to set goals and come prepared to each session
- Feedback collected throughout the program, with a closing session in December
This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world insights, expand your professional network, and get personalised guidance from those who’ve walked the path before you.
