Mentor 630x380

Are you keen to receive formal mentoring to support your professional growth and career journey?

Murdoch University is launching a pilot mentoring program, starting October 2025, and we’re inviting expressions of interest from students who would like to take part as mentees.

This 3-month program will connect 25 students with experienced mentors from:

  • The Melville & Cockburn Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) member base
  • The Murdoch University Alumni Community
  • Other professional and industry sources

Program Highlights:

  • Duration: October – December 2025
  • Mentoring Stream A: Business Leaders to Students (focus on employability, career, and professional development)
  • 6 mentoring sessions over 3 months
  • Mentors and mentees matched based on interests, industry, and skill needs
  • Onboarding session to align expectations
  • Short agreement to ensure commitment
  • Mentees are expected to set goals and come prepared to each session
  • Feedback collected throughout the program, with a closing session in December

This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world insights, expand your professional network, and get personalised guidance from those who’ve walked the path before you.

Interested?

  • Submit your Expression of Interest via the form: [EOI Form]
  • EOIs close: Monday, 15 September
  • Mentor-mentee matches announced: Monday, 22 September

We look forward to supporting you on your professional journey through this new initiative!
