Run by our 3rd year senior practical students, Murdoch Active are offering completely FREE fitness classes for all students, designed to help you move more, stress less and feel good.
Whether you need some tips on the benefits of lifting, enjoy early morning boot camps designed to get your heart racing, or just want to start the day feeling revitalised and refreshed, we’ve got a class for you!
Learn to Lift: Your introduction to strength training
Tuesdays & Thursdays (4pm – 5pm)
Learn to lift is designed to teach you how to safely lift weights and get fit in a friendly, supportive environment. Benefit from:
- Perfecting your form – learn the importance of improving your form, breathing and preventing injury
- How strength training can support your physical and mental health
- How to perform foundational movements like squats, deadlifts and presses
What else is available?
- Bootcamp (Tuesdays & Thursdays 7am-8am) – a fairly intense mix of strength training and aerobic elements.
- Rise & Grind (Wednesdays 7am – 8am) - A combination of core exercises and full body stretches
- Weight Circuits (Mondays 7am-8am) – our circuit classes are full body circuits targeting aerobic fitness & muscular endurance in our HIIT Circuit.
- One for All (Wednesdays 8am – 9am) – an adaptable strength class suited for all abilities

All Murdoch Moves classes are completely free to students and a great way to support our senior prac students. No experience needed, no judgement, no stress. Just good vibes, and the opportunity to do something for yourself.
