Celebrate the Festival of Lights! Diwali is a colourful and sacred festival celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains around the world. The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
Join the Den Friends at International Cafe for our annual Diwali celebration. Try your hand at Bollywood dance, visit our henna artist for a beautiful design, or make diya candle holders and amazing creations with coloured sand. This is a free event, all are welcome! We also encourage students to wear traditional dress to help bring Diwali to life.
