The schemes have been developed to help foster research excellence, increase research income and to further develop our international research profile. Nominations should have international research reputation in publications and a demonstrated record in winning competitive research funds and are expected to come from an international university ranked in the top 200 as indicated by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) or the THES ranking system.

With the start of the new academic year approaching, colleagues are reminded that all members of staff at Murdoch University are eligible for a staff discount in tuition fees if they enrol their children in Murdoch College, which caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12.

A new Lecture Capture System (LCS) has replaced Lectopia for recording lectures in 2013 and making them available to staff and students. Requests for recordings for semester 1 need to be submitted using the form available from the LCS website (see below) by Monday 4th February 2013.
