This initiative, led by Murdoch students Kelsie Dowley and Tahlee Cale, aims to ensure that everyone has access to menstrual products when needed, removing barriers to attending class or participating in university life.
To make sure these products remain available for all students who need them, we kindly ask that you take only what you need. This way, we can ensure there’s enough to go around for everyone. Thank you for being considerate and helping us create a supportive campus for all!
Find the Closest Dispenser
The dispensers are located in the following areas:
South Street Campus:
Mandurah Campus:
These spots are selected to make sure you’re never too far from a dispenser! The team is currently working on getting the dispensers added to Murdoch Maps to help people find them more easily.
Donation-Based Period Product Boxes
In addition to the dispensers, six donation-based boxes will be available around campus soon, including:
- The Guild Bookshop
- 360.3.052 (wheelchair-accessible bathroom near Student Central with automatic door)
- Selected bathrooms in the Vet, Physical Sciences, and Business areas
- Murdoch Active
These boxes will be stocked with assorted menstrual products generously donated by Share the Dignity. Because supply depends on donations, these boxes might occasionally be empty. Where possible, we encourage students to use the dispensers first, to ensure the boxes are available for those who need them most.
