It is with great sadness that I relay a message from Barry Kissane that Marian Kemp, a good friend  to many and an esteemed colleague, passed away this morning. Marian will be sadly missed by her wonderful daughter Helen, partner Barry and family. Our thoughts and love go to them at this difficult time. 

Marian was a fine Murdoch person who was a champion for all students, a committed social justice advocate and strong and persuasive advocate for the collective good of staff. Her service to the University was simply outstanding and her work at our University will leave a legacy that many of us can and will be inspired by.
